Attitudes are mirrors of the mind. Our attitude toward life determines life’s attitude toward us – and that includes our art careers! For years I have collected quotes and inspirations to help me with my own attitude.
The paragraph below written by Charles Swindoll is an old favorite of mine.  I hope you enjoy reading it. The priceless wisdom of inspired thinkers like Swindoll is thought provoking.  This wisdom expands our own consciousness and helps us to grow.  It doesn’t matter whether the inspired thought came from an artist, poet, businessman, trashman or child.  If you like this article, you might like to read What I Know For Sure by Oprah.

Thanks Lori for taking the time to share that wonderful piece of wisdom from Chuck Swindoll. I will certainly take it to heart today as I go about doing some of my work tasks that I don’t enjoy very much.
I try to remember this…it has become a part of me to have a good attitude as much as possible. Maybe that’s why I’m married to a pessimist…we balance each other.

Lori, This is a great point and very true! I realize this all the time. Nowadays, I tend to be dumb struck happy. I mean I smile this huge smile when I am at the grocery store or driving, etc. It is so funny because I will notice complete strangers smiling back at me. I think “Gee, everybody seems happy today!” Then I realize it is because I am happy that others seem happy. Attitudes, mindsets, and perceptions are so very important in our art life and entire life! 🙂
