Exciting News: I’m Judging Midway Art Association’s Plein Air Paradise! 🎨🏔️

I’ve been invited to serve as a judge for this year’s Wasatch Plein Air Paradise (WPAP), one of the largest and most celebrated plein air events in the country! The festival runs from June 21 to July 5 in the stunning Heber Valley, Utah—an area known for its breathtaking mountain vistas, serene lakes, and charming historic farms. It’s truly a painter’s paradise.

This year; I’ll be judging alongside talented Idaho/Utah artist, Kwani Winder. Our task won’t be easy, as WPAP always attracts an impressive mix of professional and emerging artists, each bringing their unique vision to life on canvas.

Award night is set for July 1, and I’m looking forward to not only selecting the winners but also sharing a few thoughts about what stood out in the work we’ll be honoring. It’s inspiring to see how each artist interprets the landscape in their own style.
