Over the past four months, I have been busy drawing and painting for my holiday art show that is currently hanging at Kneeland Gallery in Sun Valley, Idaho.
For this art gallery exhibition I have been experimenting with many new painting techniques and mediums.
Most of you who follow this blog are familiar with my landscape and still life paintings. Without abandoning my artistic roots, I have also added some encaustic wax paintings, and mixed media drawings to my repertoire.  After many years, it feels good to be drawing again.
Pushing myself artistically, while simultaneously creating a new series of drawings and paintings.  These has been an ambitious endeavor….luckily, I am happy with the results!
I thought my readers might like to see a sneak preview of my holiday art show. If any of you are able to make it to the actual artists’ reception on December 30th, please don’t be shy. Come up and say hello. Here is the art show information….I hope to meet some of you there!

WOW! WOW! WOW! Absolutely love these, Lori. If this is what they look like in a photo, I can only imagine how it must be to see them in person. While I was not familiar with the term, I really, really like your encaustic paintings. God luck with your show.
